The Michelin Guide's review
This L-shaped tower house, now a ruin, still seems to stand sentinel over the surrounding marshland. It is a fine example of 16C architecture: rubble stones in various colours, corner towers and gables. Above the entrance, the fine lintel is decorated with coats-of-arms. The interior has the usual layout associated with such a building, with cellar and kitchen on the ground floor, the laird's hall on the first floor and bedchambers above that.
