Bluehill Pond Lookout commands a panorama over the entire Terra Nova National Park, dotted with creeks, cliffs, rocks, lakes, forests, peat bogs and hills. To the south, Newman Sound and the ocean, scattered with icebergs (in season), can clearly be seen on a fine day.
