The Michelin Guide's review
The Glendalough monastic settlement featured churches, houses, workshops, a hospital and farm buildings. The most striking buildings include the 30m-tall round tower (10C), which had many functions over time, the cathedral, the largest building of Glendalough, and St Kevin's Church, also known as St Kevin's Kitchen, on account of its pinnacle turret, reminiscent of a chimney stack.
