Capo Soprano Greek Fortifications
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
On the outskirts of Capo Soprano, a little outside of town, particularly well-preserved remains of the Greek fortifications were discovered. About 300m long, the wall dates back to a period between the 4C and 3C BC, when Timoleon, after restoring democracy, ordered the reconstruction of the town, which had been destroyed by the Carthaginians.
