The Michelin Guide's review
Sited in a former Franciscan friary, the museum's ground floor displays Gothic statuary, religious goldware and fine examples of metalwork. Upstairs the focus is on pictures: the masterpiece is unquestionably a famous triptych, the Last Judgement altarpiece by Hans Memling (c 1433-1494). Note also the sections devoted to 16C-18C regional painting and 19C-20C Polish painting, including notably works by Wyspianski, Malczewski and Pankiewicz.
