Inaugurated in June 1989, this huge museum is dedicated to the history of Canada since the time of the Vikings and to the art and traditions of its indigenous cultures and different ethnic groups. It showcases a magnificent collection of over 3.5 million objects, a state-of-the-art movie hall and interactive displays. Children are invited to visit the Canadian Children's Museum on site and embark on an exciting tour of the world.
