Summer home of Wilhelm Peterson-Berger
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Initially the summer house of Wilhelm Peterson-Berger (1867-1942), it became his permanent residence from 1930 until his death. The composer, greatly loved in Sweden for his piano compositions, decreed that the house had to be painted brown to better blend in with the natural landscape, unlike the traditional red houses. The music room is reminiscent of a Viking chamber.
