The Michelin Guide's review
The main square, lined with handsome houses, features this fountain carved by Italian sculptors in 1563. It originally adorned Keutschach Castle's courtyard, then was moved to Friesach in 1802. The octagonal basin frieze presents scenes from Greek mythology. It is crowned by a bronze group from 1520.
