The Michelin Guide's review
The Archaeological Museum showcases finds excavated in Fréjus since the early 20C. You will see the double-faced, white marble bust of Hermès, the town's emblem, a fine mosaic floor, ceramics and bronze statuettes, etc. Four rooms display the Gallo-Roman collections. A visit to the museum will also acquaint you with the results of digs carried out between 2010-12 in the archaeological crypt of the Roman fish farm on Avenue Aristide Briand.
