The Michelin Guide's review
Shaded by tall trees and surrounded by elegant, clapboard houses built by Loyalists at the foundation of the town, this graceful Neogothic style Anglican cathedral was built out of stone around 1850 on the model of the parish church of Snettisham in England. The interior is dominated by an arched wooden ceiling, stained glass windows and on the far right-hand side, a cenotaph with a marble effigy of Rev. John Medley, first bishop of Fredericton.
