The Michelin Guide's review
One of our planets most spectacular spots. The wild, remote and staggeringly beautiful Nahanni National Park Reserve, a UNESCO heritage site, covers over 30,000km² to the southwest of the Northwest Territories. It encompasses a large portion of South Nahanni River, which flows through the Selwyn, Mackenzie and Franklin mountains before joining up with the Liard River, a tributary of the mighty Mackenzie. No tourist facilities.
