 Civil and military monument
  The Michelin Guide's review
This is a reconstruction of the third fort built at the source of the Niagara River, at the mouth of Lake Eyrie, and destroyed by the American army in 1814. Visitors enter by a drawbridge and can tour reconstructed officers' quarters, barracks, a guardhouse and a powder magazine. Students in early-19C uniforms perform manoeuvres and serve as guides.
