Church and ruins of Folleville Castle
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The village of Folleville, located on a hill looking out over the Noye valley, was once the stronghold of Raoul de Lannoy, chamberlain and counsellor to Louis XI, Charles VIII and Louis XII. Lannoy's tomb lies in the church (15C-16C), along with those of his son François and their wives; several decorative details call to mind the golden chain given by Louis XI to Raoul in recognition of his courage during the siege of Le Quesnoy. Only a few vestiges of the family castle still remain (13C-16C).
