Museum of Northern Arizona
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Occupying a Spanish colonial-style building dating from 1936, the Museum of Northern Arizona houses permanent collections dedicated to the plateau's geology (fossils and skeletons) and human heritage, including an introduction to the history and culture of the Native Americans (Hopis, Navajos, Pais, Zunis) of northern Arizona. Photos, handicrafts (pottery, baskets, jewellery, dolls etc) and chronological panels provide an insight into the daily life of the different communities.
