The Michelin Guide's review
These cloisters take their name from the green of the decorative frescoes which were painted around 1430 by Paolo Uccello and his students. Those painted by the master himself depict scenes from Genesis and can be seen on the wall between the cloisters and the church. These cloisters lead, to the north, to the Spanish Chapel. The small Chiostrino del Morti (Little Cloisters of the Dead) can be seen to the right of the chapel.
