The cathedral looks very plain from the outside; inside, however, it has a nave divided in two by a series of columns, and fine Flamboyant-Gothic reticulated vaulting. Above the right side altar is a Descent from the Cross, painted in 1521 by Wolf Huber, an artist of the Danube School, who was born in Feldkirch and a forerunner of German landscape painting.
