The Michelin Guide's review
The castle (1588-1618) is one of the masterpieces of the Weser Renaissance. The wing overlooking the road side is the most ornate, with its alternate smooth and embossed stone bands, its oriel window above the moat and four decorative gables. Inside you can see furniture, weapons, trophies and paintings.
