The Michelin Guide's review
Little lanes and alleyways lead off both the north and south sides of the town's busiest street. Braco's Banking House can be recognised by its arcades. Further down on the right, where the street widens, is a 17C tower that today houses offices. The pretty Church of St Giles stands halfway down the street. At the far end, Lady Hill was the site of the medieval castle. A monument to the last Duke of Gordon, who died in 1836, now stands on this hill.
