The Michelin Guide's review
This listed "national artistic garden" is a delightful retreat in the palm grove. The "priest's garden" takes its name from José Castaño Sánchez (1843-1918), a chaplain who inherited and devoted his life to this 13,000m2-garden of outstanding beauty. Although the date palm dominates, many different species grow here, including a collection of cacti and the imperial palm tree, a souvenir of Sissi, whose trunk supports seven branches. An outstanding visit in store!
