The Michelin Guide's review
Alberta Legislature, a majestic yellow sandstone building crowned with a lantern dome, stands in handsome grounds that line the North Saskatchewan River. Built in 1912, it occupies the original site of Fort Edmonton. The main entrance (north side) leads into an impressive hall from which a staircase ascends to the legislative assembly. An interesting display on Alberta's history can be seen on the 5th floor circular gallery.
