Castlelaw Hill Fort
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Standing at the summit of Castle Knowe, south of the eastern slopes of the Pentland Hills, this tumulus dating from the Stone Age is made up of concentric banks and ditches. A 20m-long gallery and a chamber 3m in diameter were hewn out of the hill, for what purpose we do not know.
