  The Michelin Guide's review
This large manor with a main building constructed from local stone was started in the 17C. It was built for William Blathwayt - a minister under William III. The 40m-long east façade consists of two storeys crowned by an attic. The balustrade is almost identical to that on the west façade, but is embellished with Baroque decorative touches. The house contains some beautiful furnishings and objets d'art mainly from England and the Low Countries.
