Durbuy

The Michelin Guide's review
Located in a wooded region, Durbuy is one of the most pleasant holiday resorts in the Ardennes. Now a popular tourist destination, Durbuy was established as a town in 1331 and was the smallest in the world, with fewer than 400 inhabitants, until 1977, when it merged with other communities. Durbuy's ancient character is still very present, with its maze of narrow medieval streets lined with shops, 17C castle, old bridge and half-timbered corn exchange. On top of that, the location at the foot of the Falize, a rock face with a spectacular fold, is stunning.
