Quartier Excentric
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This little U-shaped neighbourhood is the work of François Reynaert, who was born in Rosendaël in 1887 and turned his hand to architecture in 1927. He bought a plot of land and built 35 houses on it, based on the name chosen by the owner: Suzette, Le Baldaquin, les Disques, Les Volutes, Les Anneaux, Les Copeaux, with a façade that looks as if it has been gashed open, or the Excentric Moulin, a now-abandoned dance hall.
