The Michelin Guide's review
The cathedral, set in a riverside precinct with shady lawns is composed of two distinct parts. The 15C nave is roofless but the 14C choir was restored in 1600 to serve as the parish church. The imposing cathedral doors (1730) came from Dunkeld House (now a hotel) which was once the seat of the Dukes of Atholl. The chapter house contains the Atholl mausoleum and a small museum.
