Dungiven Priory
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The ruins of this 13C Augustine priory stand on a vantage point that commands the Roe. The cemetery around the church has a few ancient tombs, which, although damaged, are interesting. Opposite the cemetery, in a recess on the right-hand side of the path, note the numerous pieces of cloth knotted to the branches of the bushes, testament to the persistent belief in the miraculous virtues of a former millstone that collects rainwater, thought to be a cure for warts.
