This public observatory is home to a ground floor astronomy and space exploration exhibition. On the balcony a telescope and pair of binoculars are at hand for an extensive view across the Tay. The main telescope (for use only when accompanied by a member of staff) only works in the evenings when the sky is clear, between October and March.
