The Michelin Guide's review
Located in the old logging town of Dubois (DEW-boys), this facility's interactive exhibits offer insight into wildlife management. Visitors may "manage" a herd of wild sheep, balancing reproduction rates, expected mortality and forage requirements with management techniques including hunting, culling the herd and non-intervention. Nearby Whiskey Mountain is home to the largest wintering herd of Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep in the US.
