  The Michelin Guide's review
This narrow loch, almost 40km long and 226m deep, surrounded by pleasant woodland and pastures. Loch Ness may not have the grandeur of some of the lochs of the northwest, but it is known worldwide for its monster, Nessie, which has continued to capture imaginations since a monk spotted her for the first time in the 6C.
