The Michelin Guide's review
The cliffs of Moher are one of the most spectacular natural wonders of Ireland. The black cliffs, some 200m/656ft high and 8km/5mi long, are made up of layers of dark sandstone and mossy schist and provide shelter for seabirds (take binoculars). They are the departure point for hiking trails to more untamed spots. Hags Head commands a striking view of these immense cliffs. Theme exhibitions in the Visitor Centre.
