The Michelin Guide's review
The museum houses brilliantly presented displays of the objects found during the excavations at Dion and neighbouring sites. The ground floor is devoted to the various sanctuaries and public buildings of the ancient city. There are beautiful statues of Hygeia, Nemesis and Medea, and a magnificent stele depicting a mother and child. On the upper level is a very rare bronze hydraulic organ dating from the 1C BC.
