The Michelin Guide's review
A stroll in the old part of Dinan takes you straight back to the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. Surrounded by ramparts built between the 13C and 15C, the old town still has numerous well-preserved, half-timber houses, which are remarkably well presented, and old buildings, such as the Basilique St-Sauveur, where the heart of Du Guesclin is kept.
