Head to Delos' Theatre district to see the ruins of a theatre that was built in the 3C BC and had the capacity for around 5 000 spectators. It also has a magnificent ensemble of private houses (2C and 1C BC), the ground floor of which was given over to shops. Several villas have exceptionally well-preserved mosaics, such as the House of the Dolphins and the House of the Masks.
