The Michelin Guide's review
Completed in 1986 and resembling a giant lotus bud, Bahai Temple stands in a superbly maintained garden and symbolises the unity and peace so cherished by followers of the Bahai faith. In the basement, a bookshop and museum provide information on this religion that developed in Iran in the 19C and which preaches religious unity based on tolerance and a personal mystical quest.
