The Michelin Guide's review
The first mention of the church of the Archangel St Michael of Dębno, covered in larch wood cladding, is in 1335. The tower was added in 1601 and the outer arcades and porch in the 17C. The interior sports painted stencilling and outstanding Gothic sculptures (15-16C), a 14C crucifix, and beautifully preserved medieval polychrome work. The church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
