The Michelin Guide's review
Twenty-two homes were built by a group of whalers who moved to the province from New England in 1785. A few steps from the landing stage, this one, the only one to remain, is characteristic of 18C structures built along this coast from Massachusetts to Nova Scotia. Note the framed walls, off-centre front door, exposed beams and narrow spiral staircase.
