An educational center for urban horticulture, Texas Discovery Gardens span 7.5 acres of decorative and native Texas plants. One of its most notable features is the two-story Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House and Insectarium, home to a staggering collection of live tropical butterflies. Outdoors are a series of smaller specialty gardens.
