This modestly proportioned but richly decorated 16C church catches the eye by its twisting "marshmallow" towers. Lavish, Oriental-inspired details depicting birds and plants are visible. Originally adorned with Venetian frescoes and mosaics, these were replaced by modern works of art when the edifice was renovated in 1875. The church is also the site of the Voivode and royal necropolis. A strange legend surrounds the edifice...
