The Michelin Guide's review
A vast garden, half the size of France, a wild kingdom that is home to over 650 species of bird, 1 000 varieties of butterfly, 130 mammals. A real sanctuary, it is sheltered in the largest freshwater wetlands in the world, which have been listed since the year 2000 as a Unesco World Heritage Site. Why not get back to nature, by taking a boat trip on the labyrinthine river network or on horseback alongside the cowherds of a fazenda pantaneira?
