The Michelin Guide's review
The collegiate church, built c 1250, still graces the hamlet of La Chapelle in the lowlands of the valley. The building, which is supported by large buttresses, has a bell tower with a double saddle roof, a feature that is typical in Brie. Fragments of bas-reliefs discovered during excavation works have been placed on the tympanum of the main portal. On top, the coronation of Mary; on the left, the Assumption; on the right, St Martin; at the bottom, the three wise men and an angel weighing souls.
