The Michelin Guide's review
This is one of the fourteen Fernandine churches built in the 13C when Ferdinand III reconquered Córdoba. All ornamentation was abandoned, leaving the sober façade, divided by four solid buttresses, to show off the beauty and robustness of the stone. The splayed doorway has simple mouldings, lightly broken in the early ogive style. The rose window was restored and the tower rebuilt in the 16C.
