Castle
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Rebuilt in the 18C, this castle that overlooks Lake Geneva belonged to Necker, Louis XVI's finance minister. His daughter, Germaine de Staël, was opposed to Napoleon's regime and sought refuse until the Restoration here, receiving the great minds of the time. She was buried in the park with other members of her family. The interior is sumptuously furnished and the rooms have remained unchanged since the Revolution.
