The Michelin Guide's review
As the king and the court's former parish, this church is lavishly appointed. In the 18C, the chancel was adorned in marble and the bases of the pillars were clad in wood. The chancel and transept, despite being doubled by an ambulatory in the 16C, have retained their Gothic unity from the era of King Louis.
