The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the 15C, this majestic royal church owes its splendour to Louis XI who now rests in the vault off the nave. Especially noteworthy is the chapelle St Jacques with its rich Gothic decoration; it was built as a tomb for Gilles de Pontbriand (a patron of the church) and his brother. Note the stained glass in the chancel (16C) and the carved pews bearing the interwoven initials of Henri II and Diane de Poitiers.
