The Michelin Guide's review
The adjacent banks and bottom areas of the peaceful Falls of the Ohio State Park, on the other side of the river, just across the Ohio River from downtown Louisville, contain some of the richest Devonian fossil deposits in the world. The park's striking contemporary Interpretive Center is built of strata of limestone and multi-coloured bricks, mirroring the fossil beds it interprets. A documentary traces their history, which goes back more than 350 million years.
