The Michelin Guide's review
A designated UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Gede Pangrango National Park is named after two volcanoes. Spread over 15,000ha in an exceptional natural landscape, every step in this tropical Eden takes you past tangled creepers, tree ferns and giant trees (styrax up to 60m!), painting a lush green picture, dotted with bright splashes of tropical flowers. Long-tailed macaques and the chirping of all sorts of birds will accompany you through the park.
