The Michelin Guide's review
This monumental double-deck bascule bridge, officially DuSable Bridge, is the main access road to the Magnificent Mile. Completed in 1920, it has four 12m-high towers: decorated with low reliefs sculpted in the Bedford limestone, they celebrate important chapters in the city's history. The Michigan Avenue Bridge offers the most impressive views over the Loop's gleaming skyscrapers that loom over the river.
