The Michelin Guide's review
The Daley Center is probably best known for its plaza, where Picasso's fantastic steel sculpture holds court. The creature initially sparked controversy, but it is now one of Chicagoans' best-loved icons. Housing courtrooms and offices, this fine example of the International architectural style was completed in 1965. Seasonal festivities and a summertime farmers' market take place under "the Picasso".
