Le Morne Brabant Peninsula

The Michelin Guide's review
The 556m-high Morne Brabant, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, overlooks the peninsula of the same name from the southwestern tip of the island. It is surrounded by several kilometres of sand and a vast lagoon of dazzling colours. Amid the filaos, there is a stag reserve. Perfectly sheltered, the long public beach is being eaten into more and more by hotels that monopolise the island's loveliest seaside site.
