Chefchaouen Medina

The Michelin Guide's review
The medina occupies the eastern part of Chefchaouèn with its intertwining streets, impromptu stairs, houses easily recognisable due to their half-blue façades, rugs hung up on walls here and there, splashes of green from a few potted plants, and decorative zellige tiles and wrought iron suggesting an Andalusian influence. Then there's lively Uta-el-Hammam Square, the kasbah and the Great Mosque, and finally a bit of rest and relaxation at a sidewalk cafe to soak up the last rays of sunlight.
